Owl/Kestrel/Flicker House / Nesting Box
Long lasting natural cedar. Available in either of two opening sizes, this
house is ornithologically designed for small owls and kestrels, or flickers.
Features a sloping overhanging roof, a recessed floor, and a ventilation slot
under the roof overhang to keep the interior dry and cool, a ladder inside the
front panel to help fledglings to the opening, and an easy opening front panel
for cleaning. Because these birds normally use the bark and wood chips inside
the cavity of a tree as nesting material, a bag of wood shavings is included
for them.
