Squirrels can climb metal poles to raid your bird feeders. Make your pole mounted bird feeder squirrel proof by adding this squirrel guard to a correctly located bird feeder pole. An 18½ inch tray with a broadly curved edge acts as a squirrel guard and feeding tray for bird feeders. This uniquely designed squirrel baffle not only keeps squirrels from getting the birdseed, it also serves as a seed tray to catch dropped seed and reduce waste. It allows birds such as cardinals to feed without using the birdfeeder perches. You can put special treats such as peanuts or mealworms on the tray as well.
